About RAMEN MURA

Fresh, authentic Japanese ramen with a healthy spin in Orange County

Located at 130 S Main St G, Orange, CA 92868, RAMEN MURA operates as a ramen serving Orange in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Orange is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Orange is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Tried their famous black ramen and was so deliciously prepared, had the premium baked sushi on the side with a couple appetizers. Everything was amazing. Will definitely be coming back!

Don't let the affordable prices fool youβ€”**Ramen Mira** is serving some of the best ramen we've had. I grew up in Hawaii, have lived all over the country (including the Pacific Northwest), and I'm a total ramen snob. This place absolutely exceeded my expectations. The tonkotsu ramen was phenomenal, the gyoza was just as impressive, and everything came out quickly. The service was outstanding, too. Huge thanks to **Gabriel** and **Rogelio** for taking such great care of us and making us feel so welcome. Even my kidβ€”who's somehow an even bigger food snob than I amβ€”couldn't get enough of the tonkotsu broth and happily drank a ton of it. That's about the highest compliment a ramen place can get from our family! They also serve complimentary cream puffs at the end of the meal, which was a really nice touch. We drive up from Phoenix whenever we're heading to Disneyland, and Ramen Mira has officially become a must-stop for us. Delicious, authentic, fast, friendly, and an incredible value. Don't let the prices make you think you're sacrificing qualityβ€”you'll be getting top-notch ramen at an amazing price. We can't wait to come back!

I tried the Spicy Black Ramen and really enjoyed it. The noodles were on the thinner side but still nicely cooked, and the chashu was cooked perfectly with a great crispy texture. Overall, the ramen was very flavorful and satisfying. One big plus is that for an extra $7.95, you can add a California roll, which was also surprisingly good and paired well with the ramen. Definitely a place I would recommend.

My first visit to Ramen Mura offered a mixed, but mostly positive, experience. I started my meal with the Eel and Avocado Roll, which came out first. The sushi was decentβ€”nothing spectacular, but satisfying enough to start the meal. Next up was the highly-anticipated Habanero Miso Ramen bowl. This is where Ramen Mura truly shines! Be warned: this ramen is very spicy! It’s intensely hot, but the flavor is exceptionally good. The depth of the broth is impressive, and you can distinctly taste the savory richness of peanut sauce blending with the miso and habanero. The ramen itself was decent, but that unique, spicy-nutty flavor combination is what makes the bowl memorable and worth ordering. You definitely taste the peanut sauce, and the heat level delivers. While the food had its highs (the ramen!) and its consistency (the sushi), the overall atmosphere was impacted by the service, which felt a little mid-tier. It wasn't poor, but it lacked the attentiveness that turns a good meal into a great experience. Overall, I recommend Ramen Mura for those seeking an aggressively spicy ramen with a unique, delicious twist. Just set your expectations for the service accordingly
